Speaking Prophets

"Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7) These words written by the Old Testament prophet, Amos, are widely known to the LDS community, but little to everyone else. This is a large part of the good news we share. That there is no "END OF PROPHETS."
The New Testament also supports this with the Prophet John (AKA John the Baptist) who prepared the way for our Savior Jesus Christ through his brief (but important) ministry. Paul writes at the beginning of Hebrews, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in times past unto the fathers by the prophets." (Hebrews 1:1) This testimony supports what Amos stated, especially since it is in the past tense. What about now? Paul writes further in his Epistle to the Hebrews (Hebrews 13:8), "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." This is seconded by a Prophet in the Book of Mormon. Nephi wrote "For he is the same yesterday, today, and forever; and the way is prepared for all men from the foundation of the world, if it so be that they repent and come unto him." (1 Nephi 10: 18) I have already mentioned God follows patterns. Since we do have a prophet, it is expedient he speak to the world to reveal God's will for us. Therefore, we invite you to watch with us. I promise you will find something that will relate to you in a personal way, and you will not regret watching it.
